Wood burning stove, 4.9kW – ECODesign 2022, Smoke Control Area Exempt, 82.7% Efficient, A+ Energy Rating, 18% Dust. Designed and assembled in the UK, these stoves are the most efficient of their size in the UK, together with the lowest emissions (Dust Particles) available today.
Being born and bred in the Lake District, the Loughrigg is a new British designed wood burning stove and is Eco Design 2022 Ready, ensuring the highest standards of efficiency and cleanliness. On the front of the Loughrigg it features a slender cast iron door frame and a large window which provides a beautiful and stunning view of the fire.
The Loughrigg is the widescreen version of the Mi-fires new range of stoves.
The Loughrigg’s 4.9kW output makes it suitable for both medium and large sized rooms. The stunning panoramic window is kept clean by a powerful airwash system so it can show off the fire to its fullest effect. The Loughrigg is both Smoke Control Area Exempt and ECO-Design 2022 ready so makes an impressive statement in a fireplace or freestanding.
Key features include 5mm & 8mm steel seam welded stove body construction and cast iron door. The firebox is lined with 30mm vermiculite panels. Finished with a stylish polished stainless steel handle and air control on the front.
The Loughrigg is equipped with an installer friendly 125mm outlet allowing you to flue the stove from the top or rear outlet. The discreet levelling screws are hidden in the legs to ensure that the stove can be secure no matter how uneven the hearth surface is. This is suitable for installation on a 12mm decorative hearth.
The Loughrigg features a single stainless steel air slider on the front of the stove allowing you to easily control the combustion of your stove.
The Loughrigg features a very powerful tertiary system which is central to the efficiency and cleanliness. Pre-heated air is drawn into the fire chamber and then injected into the path of the gases produced during primary combustion; this reignites the gases resulting in a significantly cleaner and more efficient fire.
